About Shannon
Shannon Chamness serves as a learning and development leader at Milo's Tea Company in Denver, Colorado, where she has worked for nearly four years. In this role, she and her team support corporate and operations teams by fulfilling training requests and building programs that advance leadership, operational training, and personal and professional growth and development. Chamness began her career in learning and development after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a triple major double degree in advertising, art history, and studio arts. While working multiple jobs to fund her education, including at Sports Authority, she developed a training program for cashiers that led to a corporate role after graduation, and she has remained in the field since 2006. Her notable achievements include the ATD Best Program Award for the Leaders as Coaches program presented two years ago, presentations by her team on APTD certifications and mentorship at ATD last year, and being named a Learning Leader of 30 Under 30 in 2016. She is an active member of the ATD Rocky Mountain chapter and ATD at large, and she contributes to her community through company volunteer efforts in Alabama and by teaching jewelry making classes at the Boulder Metalsmithing Society and local libraries.
