Shannon Freeman

Shannon is an accomplished facilities and project management professional with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including work with home builders and construction companies. She developed a passion for restaurant and casual dining concepts and transitioned into facilities management after working with a mentor. Her experience includes roles at Kona Grill, where she managed kitchen equipment operations, and at Southwest Value Partners, where she started their facilities program for resorts encompassing around 2,000 keys across 30 properties and designed dining concepts, banquet spaces, and food trucks for the Nashville Yards project. She is also the founder of Modern Hippie Soul, a holistic healing company she has operated for the better part of 15 years, offering energetic work and wellness practices focused on women. Growing up on construction sites reading blueprints, she built expertise in kitchen equipment maintenance and design from an operational standpoint. After experiencing burnout in her corporate role, she pursued holistic healing, training in energetic practices and founding her wellness company to support other women in male-dominated industries.
