Porter established The Ginger Lemon as a full-time venture approximately four to five years ago following her time at Pink Creek in Oklahoma, where she played a key role in relaunching the website, expanding the store to quadruple its size, opening a second location, and enhancing merchandising strategies. Through The Ginger Lemon, she assists small business and boutique owners in high-end luxury retail with tailored solutions such as complete rebrands and relaunches, staff training to build confidence and sales skills, inventory management, back-office operations, merchandising, website development, and social media management. Her approach emphasizes providing guidance and a hands-on experience to address the diverse challenges faced by entrepreneurs who often manage multiple roles. In addition to her professional work, Porter supports her father's charity foundation, APT Fighting Chance, which aids individuals affected by cancer, and she represents Quincy, Massachusetts in the 2026 edition of Influential Women.
