Long overdue GRADUATION in 2015! I used to Nanny for these two girls when they were little. And then as they grew I babysat for them. As I was walking into graduation their mother and the girls were walking to their seats. We were able to stop for a quick picture! To know these kiddos from ages birth/ 2 and a half, to that time, was a blessing! But to now look back and still have them in my life, bridesmaids in my wedding, still asking me to come over and hang out, that is priceless! The degree is amazing! Don’t get me wrong! But the bonds that I form with the children an their families that truly last a lifetime make earning that degree even more special to me! Just the other night the younger one, now 19 told me “ you were our fun Aunt, we wanted you to come over and play with us and do things with us!” She remembers the fun, but the learning and education, the socialization, that was all there too!!!
