Shanon Leigh Martin

Shanon Martin is a dedicated Special Education Consultant at the Eastern Lebanon County School District, where she provides expert guidance and program coordination for Autism Support, Life Skills Support, and Emotional Support classrooms. With a strong commitment to student success and inclusive education, Shanon works collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective strategies that meet the unique needs of every student. Her focus on consultation, technical assistance, and program development ensures that all students receive the resources and support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Before assuming her current role, Shanon served as an Itinerant Autism Support Teacher for nearly seven years, gaining extensive hands-on experience working directly with students across multiple classrooms. This experience allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within special education, shaping her approach to curriculum adaptation, individualized instruction, and behavior support. Her ability to connect with students and staff alike has made her a trusted resource within the district.
Shanon holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Cabrini University. Passionate about advancing best practices in special education, she continues to stay informed about the latest research and strategies in the field. Shanon’s dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit make her a strong advocate for students with diverse learning needs and an invaluable member of the educational community.
