About Shante

Shante Johnson is a prevention education professional and Supervising Prevention Consultant at Prevention Links, where she brings expertise in team leadership, professional development, facilitation, and community-focused prevention initiatives. Since joining Prevention Links in 2023, she has provided supervision to team members, led meetings, conducted assessments, analyzed data, and supported the development and delivery of prevention education programs for students and parents.

With a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, Shante draws on her understanding of human behavior, active listening, and problem-solving skills to navigate professional relationships and organizational challenges. Her earlier experience as a Social Worker with Circle of Care for Families of Passaic County provided a strong foundation in supporting individuals and families, while her current work has expanded her focus to prevention programming, organizational development, and team leadership.

Shante is also pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix, with an expected completion in 2027. Her work includes developing and modifying evidence-based programming designed to help prevent additional trauma within communities, while recognizing the experiences and needs of both children and parents. Through her leadership and participation in county-wide meetings and decision-making spaces, Shante values collaboration, effective communication, and diverse perspectives as essential elements in creating meaningful solutions and strengthening the organizations and communities she serves.
