What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to starting early and staying committed to learning every aspect of the insurance industry, from hands-on experience to building and running my own agency. Just as important, I’ve built my career on trust, strong relationships, and a genuine commitment to protecting others—both through strategic risk management and through creating community with initiatives like Mindful Mondays.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received came from mentors like Priscilla Berry and my coach, Deirdre Bagley, who encouraged me to invest in myself—most notably by getting my insurance license in 1998—which reinforced the importance of discipline, credibility, and continuous growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay adaptable and committed to continuous learning—be disciplined, organized, and confident in your experience, seek out mentors, and build strong relationships, because long-term success in this industry comes from preparation, consistency, and leading with intention.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Adaptability, discipline, organization, and consistency are the values that guide both my work and personal life, shaping how I lead, learn, and show up—as a professional, a wife, and a mother.
