About Shantelle
Shantelle Williams Johnson is a seasoned Learning and Development Consultant whose career spans more than two decades across higher education, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, and professional services and IT. Known for her ability to guide organizations through complex transformation, she has built a reputation as a trusted coach, facilitator, instructional designer, and business development executive. Her expertise centers on leadership development, organizational performance, and change management, and she has applied this knowledge to design and deliver learning programs for professionals across a truly global footprint, including North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and Europe.
Johnson's professional path began at Anderson Consulting, now known as Accenture, before she went on to hold senior roles at organizations such as MasterCard, KPMG, and NIIT, where she currently serves in a consulting and advisory capacity. During her tenure at MasterCard, she took on the Inroads internship initiative, establishing it as a formal corporate-sponsored program to open pathways in business and engineering for underserved youth as part of broader diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. Her academic foundation includes a degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where the teachings of Dr. Richard Taub on bureaucratic systems and applied economics left a lasting influence on her career direction, complemented by further study in Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at the University of Oxford.
Beyond her consulting practice, Johnson remains deeply engaged in community leadership, serving as Vice President of her Links chapter, Chaplain within her sorority, and a board member of the Center for Safety and Change. She credits much of her professional success to the versatility she has cultivated across roles as a career coach, instructional designer, facilitator, and innovator in learning and leadership, along with a sustained drive to manage change on a global scale. Through this blend of technical expertise, mentorship, and civic involvement, she continues to shape both individuals and institutions navigating growth and transformation.
