Shanyce Matthews

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals and families. I currently serve as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at INTEGRATIVE COUNSELING SOLUTIONS, a role I have held since January 2022, where I provide individual counseling, trauma therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to support clients in their healing and growth. I also served as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a hybrid capacity for over two years, providing counseling services to a diverse client population.

Prior to my current role, I completed an internship as a Counselor at INTEGRATIVE COUNSELING SOLUTIONS, where I gained foundational clinical experience in individual counseling and grief counseling. I also served as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for over four years, where I supported children and families in a hospital setting, and as a Therapeutic Program Worker at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for three months.

Earlier in my career, I served as a Fulfillment Specialist at Amazon for eight months and as a Campus Election Engagement Fellow at the Campus Election Engagement Project for four months, where I supported civic engagement on campus.

Across my career in mental health counseling and behavioral health, my work has been driven by a commitment to helping individuals navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and achieve emotional well-being. Whether I am providing trauma therapy, supporting children in a hospital setting, or working with clients in a private practice, I bring empathy, clinical expertise, and a dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment for healing. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue serving my clients and community through my work at INTEGRATIVE COUNSELING SOLUTIONS.
