Shaqueta Hinkle

I am the Corporate Chef and founder of Care Chef Hospitality LLC, a culinary and hospitality company I launched in 2023 in Chicago, delivering culturally resonant dining experiences while supporting sustainable and community-centered food systems. I design and execute private dining, corporate catering, and event-based culinary experiences, develop operational systems including client intake processes and menu development frameworks, integrate food equity principles into the business model, and manage end-to-end operations including branding, client relations, and logistics. Previously, I was a Community Food Source Specialist at Public Allies through an apprenticeship at Marillac St. Vincent, supporting food pantry operations, senior home delivery, food rescue, and community gardens while completing leadership development training in servant leadership and Asset-Based Community Development. Earlier, I was a Cafe Kitchen Manager and Culinary Intern at Inspiration Corporation, overseeing Inspiration Cafe operations, managing inventory and budgets, and working front-line stations including Saute, Grill, Garde Manger, and Fryer, and a Culinary Team Lead at LYTE Collective, creating weekly menus and managing meal service. Throughout my career, I have combined culinary expertise with a commitment to food equity, community impact, and sustainable food systems.
