About Shareese

Shareese Aouad is an independent travel advisor based in Cincinnati, Ohio, running her own business through host agency Inteletravel. Bringing 35 years of professional experience to her work, she previously held roles at GE Capital, Jewish Vocational Service, Fifth Third Bank, and U.S. Bank in corporate trust, before most recently serving as Office Manager at the Cincinnati Development Fund. In that position, she oversaw administrative operations, event planning, executive support, vendor negotiations, and Notary Public duties, consistently finding ways to streamline processes and cut costs for the organization. Earlier in her career, she also worked in administrative and coordination roles with the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority and the City of Montgomery, Ohio, giving her a broad foundation in customer service, project management, and community outreach.

Aouad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a minor in Philosophy from the College of Mount St. Joseph, now known as Mount St. Joseph University. She is fluent in French in addition to her native English, and she maintains an Ohio Life License along with Red Cross certification in AED, First Aid, and CPR. Beyond her core travel advisory work, she is also building a career in insurance sales through Primerica and is currently pursuing her securities license, reflecting her drive to diversify her professional expertise. Having traveled to 26 countries since the mid-1990s, she draws on this firsthand global experience to craft meaningful travel packages, including retreats and team-building experiences for corporate clients.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Aouad is an active philanthropist and creative. She has been a member of the 700 Club for 17 years, served three years on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Drama Kinetics, and regularly supports fundraising efforts for various community organizations. She is also a member of Black Art Speaks and expresses her artistic side through painting and jewelry making. Combining decades of business acumen with a genuine passion for cultural exploration, Aouad continues to build a career centered on service, growth, and helping others discover the world.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I contribute my success to my family's legacy of faith in God and a strong work ethic.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Success comes to those who are too busy to look for it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I believe this is a wonderful opportunity because you can learn while you earn, with the support of Inteletravel, the largest travel agency in the world, operating in 20 countries. It's affordable to get started, and it provides IATA and CLIA numbers that unlock valuable industry benefits. This is a trillion-dollar industry that continues to grow, offering opportunities for full-time or part-time work along with multiple revenue streams.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Geopolitics and economic stress are the biggest challenges currently facing the travel industry. Individuals are afraid to travel, especially internationally when a war is happening or acts of terrorism are taking place.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, integrity, strong work ethic and preparedness are all values that guide my personal and professional life. I say what I mean and mean what I say. If I say I will do something, I do it. It is very important to me to be dependable.
