What do you attribute your success to?
My success is grounded in faith in God, strengthened by the support of family and friends, and fueled by a deep determination to succeed—so that I can be a blessing to others.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my father. He taught me to keep moving forward in pursuit of my goals, reminding me that a closed door is never the end. Someone will say “yes,” and when that moment comes, give your very best and never stop learning.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering publishing and entrepreneurship is to research thoroughly and with intention, applying only what aligns with your vision and business goals. Release strategies, voices, and opportunities that do not serve your purpose. Be bold, push past fear, and never hesitate to seek wisdom from others in the industry—collaboration and shared knowledge are essential to growth.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field today are largely about visibility, sustainability, representation, and digital transformation. Major opportunities come from new formats, tech-driven engagement, direct audience connections, and expanding global/diverse markets.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in my work and personal life are trusting God for guidance, wisdom, and provision in every area of life—seeking His will through prayer and Scripture before decisions are made. work and personal life are not separate—they are both expressions of faith. Values such as faith, integrity, love, humility, excellence, and service guide decisions, relationships, and long-term purpose.
