Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sharniece
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my daughter. She motivated me to finish my degree after she passed. I went and got her degree from her school at Clark Atlanta, and that was my go-ahead to finish what I need to do for my enrichment. I just graduated in January and jumped right into the MBA program.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Ignore the qualifications section on requisitions. A lot of people miss out on opportunities because they don't apply. Regardless of what they say they need, still apply. If you've been doing what you've been doing for 20 years, you will be able to do it better than a lawyer who just graduated.
