What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is: "Do it, do it right, and do it right now." That simple phrase has stuck with me because it emphasizes the importance of execution. What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this field is: don’t let the stress get to you. This work can be demanding, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Stay positive, keep your focus on your purpose, and remember why you started. A positive mindset not only helps you push through challenges but also inspires those around you.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is leading and supporting team members who may struggle with taking direction or believe they already have all the answers. In any leadership role, it’s important to find ways to guide and mentor with both firmness and empathy. I see this not just as a challenge, but also as an opportunity—to build trust, foster professional growth, and create a culture where collaboration and respect are foundational to our shared success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are staying positive, maintaining professionalism, and knowing when to pause and breathe. I believe a positive attitude sets the tone for a healthy work environment, and keeping a clear boundary between personal and professional life helps me stay focused and balanced. Taking a moment to breathe—especially during high-pressure situations—allows me to respond with clarity and lead with intention.
