My typical day involves dealing with emails from factories, approving colors, making sure garments fit correctly, ensuring all the tech packs are updated, and that all information is communicated clearly to either my production sourcing partner or the factory. I do some sketching sometimes, some research on what's going on trend-wise, and if I'm lucky, I can get out and do some shopping. There are also financial meetings and making sure that we're on time and staying on calendar. It can be a lot, and sometimes you're not sure why it's a lot and why you're doing it, but yes, I do love what I do. I love to make good products that people love. My most notable professional achievement was launching a brand from first concepts to sales in 18 months that grossed over $50 million. That was the ultimate test and a good measure that I could do it.
