Sharon Chancey Smith

Sharon Chancey Smith is an award-winning author, dynamic speaker, and former beauty industry leader who has shifted her focus toward her true passion: faith-based writing and women's ministry. After a successful career with Lancôme Paris Cosmetics—where she led high-performing teams, trained professionals, and drove multimillion-dollar sales—Sharon took a leap of faith to pursue her calling as an author and speaker. Her first book, The Special Little Sports Car, was inspired by the loss of her young son, Seaver, and has touched countless hearts across the country. She is now preparing to release her second book, Warrior for God: Armor Up and Be Set Free, a powerful message of hope and spiritual strength.

In addition to writing, Sharon is a frequent speaker at women’s retreats, churches, recovery programs, and faith-based events, where her authenticity and warmth connect deeply with audiences. She hosts an annual three-day event at her home for college women called Student Mobilization, continuing her mission to uplift the next generation. Sharon also founded the nonprofit Hugs from Seaver to support families of terminally ill children and has created literacy programs adopted by local school districts. Outside of her ministry work, Sharon enjoys golfing with her husband—her junior high sweetheart—and keeping up with Zumba, for which she holds an instructor's license. Whether she’s encouraging women to live boldly in their faith or simply spending time with her best friend, Sharon’s life is a reflection of love, purpose, and resilience.
