01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to not giving up, to working hard, to just not giving up and knowing my words. When we're younger, we're in this big ocean and we're just trying to figure out who we are and where we're trying to go. Sometimes it takes you or me or the next person a little longer depending on our learning curve, but do know that you have to be the best version of yourself to make anybody happy if you're not happy within yourself. There's no way that you can make anybody happy. You can be successful. It starts within you. You gotta know.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To oppose to when you first learn this craft, they do not teach us, they only teach us compliance. Compliance is, of course, always awesome and amazing because we have to stay in compliance. However, I would strongly advise my new upcoming tax people to do a lot more exploring because the compliance is just half of it. And they will go through all these many years like I did, not knowing that around the corner and across the street, you really could really set the tone and help people and show them how to really save money legally. Don't stop your education. Explore. Get out there. Because compliance is just what the government wants you because they're looking for their money. They don't want you to help anybody save money, so go do your job. So, I'm going in there and find you some tax person that's gonna do tax strategies, or someone who is knowledgeable in that area.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Values that are most important to me is integrity, integrity, integrity. Yes, because at the end of the world, you don't have to have anything, but your word and your integrity and how you talk and how you treat people, that speaks volumes and it goes a long way. And I would always tell somebody, you know, be the best version of yourself, be true to yourself. If you wouldn't want someone doing whatever it is that, excuse my French, that bullshit shit to you. You don't do it to them, because at the end of the day, they're someone's mother, father, sister, brother. Don't freaking do it. So that's, you know, I'm strong on that. Like, I'm really big on energies. I'm really big on karma.
