Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my strong work ethic and the guidance my parents provided. They instilled in me the belief that I could achieve anything I desired with hard work and focus. While it wasn't easy to attend McLeans Stenographer School for typing and shorthand during summer months when my friends were having fun, I am grateful for that experience, as it has significantly benefited my career.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My father instilled in me the importance of always having integrity. Never burn bridges, as you may encounter the same individuals again later. I strive to be kind, humble, and giving. It's okay that not everyone will like you. I also always remember my last name and what it represents: LOVE.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Maintain professionalism, kindness, humility, and integrity. Cultivate a career you genuinely enjoy. Fully immerse yourself in the company, seeking to understand its history and operations. Approach C-suite executives, expressing your interest in their roles and how they contribute to the company's success. Actively participate in networking to enhance your professional profile. Be proactive in asking questions and sharing your insights.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, open communication, and trust are essential. Embrace authenticity and enjoy life to the fullest, as it's too short. Never compromise your true personality for anyone. Stay true to yourself.
