Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sharon
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to lifting as I climb, advancing others as I advance, and learning to balance my day so that some things can drop without derailing the next day. This approach has helped me in both professional and personal life, including caring for my aging parents.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Toot your own horn. When you notice improvements and make changes that reduce costs or increase effectiveness, speak up about your contributions instead of letting others take credit. Include numbers and percentages when possible, and advocate for yourself.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is here and not going away. The opportunity is to harness it by learning how to structure prompts to get precise results, then interpret and apply them in real time to become more effective in organizational development and change roles.
