Prior to this role, I spent over ten years at Centerplate as a Banquet Server and Captain, where I developed my expertise in banquet service, event execution, and team leadership. Across my career in hospitality and food and beverage management, my work has been driven by a commitment to excellence in service, team development, and creating memorable experiences for guests. Whether I am managing hospitality operations, leading banquet teams, or serving guests in a fine dining setting, I bring a strong work ethic, a collaborative approach, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue growing as a leader in the hospitality industry.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sharon

01What do you attribute your success to?

I like what I do. And when you succeed over something as massive as we do tend to go through here, that it's like a woosah moment. He's like, wow, I really did that. I don't know how I did it, but I did it.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

When I went into this position, I was shy. I was bashful. I didn't want to inter... And my GM line got me out of that shyness by telling me that he had more confidence in me than I had in myself. Him saying that, made me realize that I actually did.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is, I would say, the constant changes. Because when you get constant changes, it changes your whole dynamic... dynamer, and you've got to start from the top again. You've got to go back to your scheduling, you make sure the scheduling's in correctly, then you've got to drop down and make sure the certain ratios are correctly. The biggest challenge I think I face is the changes.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I like keeping the clients happy. I like getting ahead of the game.
