Her Story
About Sharon
I've been in my current position at ADP for 9 months, where I sell human capital management solutions including payroll, retirement services, health and benefits, workers' compensation, and HR services. I work primarily with CPAs and accountants serving small businesses with 1 to 49 employees here in Central Florida, though I can work anywhere in the nation. I consult with clients to understand what they need and what their goals are for the next year, two years, or three years, and then we build a plan for how to get there, how to stay compliant, and what's needed for growth and retention. With the CPAs I visit, those CPAs share their clients with me and I bring them more clientele as well, so it's a lot of networking and word of mouth. Before ADP, I was a stylist working for magazines and commercials, doing sales for boutique stores, pop-up events, and runway fashion shows. I worked at John Casablanca modeling agency in every position as an instructor and doing promotions. I started working with a well-known photographer in the area and then worked for Orlando Home and Leisure magazine, styling for them and managing Raphael Tongall's book of business. I did some of my own modeling work with Ron John, including billboard work. I've also done other rep work in the past as a radiology outpatient facility rep for UDI in Ward Park. Between sales and fashion, it's always been a mix-up of them both. I came to this role because I'm a mom and my son needs more of my time. I needed more flexibility, and this works so well for me as a mother while still doing styling on the side. One of my most notable achievements was styling Noah Lyles, the gold medalist, for Adidas right before he won. One day I'd like to build a business and sell my own clothing, resort wear, and sell it at nice resorts all around Florida.
