I attribute my success to finding enjoyment in my work and being genuinely passionate about accounting. When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like a job—it drives you to excel and consistently deliver value.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve received is to believe in yourself, not settle, and continually push forward by stepping outside your comfort zone. This mindset has helped me navigate complex roles and grow both professionally and personally.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women to believe in themselves, build confidence, and avoid being their own worst critic. Additionally, always practice compassion when serving clients, putting yourself in their shoes to better support them.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major challenge is the decline in younger people entering accounting, while a significant opportunity lies in combining accounting expertise with technology—a field still largely male-driven. Women in accounting need to build confidence in this space and embrace these technological opportunities.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Trustworthiness, sincerity, and humility guide both my professional and personal life, ensuring that I deliver meaningful work and build authentic relationships with colleagues and clients.
