Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shayla
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God and my faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There have been times when I wanted to quit or questioned my purpose, but my faith has given me the strength to keep going. God has blessed me with tenacity, endurance, persistence, and the drive to pursue my goals. I’m still working on patience, but I trust Him to guide me through every challenge and opportunity.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I can give is to trust yourself and go for it. If you can think it, see it, and feel it, pursue it. Believe in your vision and don’t be afraid to take the opportunity when it comes.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value hard work, family, faith, and enjoying the fruits of my labor. I love being at home with my family, traveling, and serving in my church’s praise and worship ministry. I’m also a creative person who enjoys drawing, painting, shopping, experimenting with makeup and hairstyles, and, professionally, showing homes and helping people find the right house. I also have a passion for cars and simply enjoy pursuing the things that bring me happiness and fulfillment.
