Shayna Ikeda is an administrative, marketing, and digital media professional based in Los Angeles, California, with experience spanning executive support, administrative operations, project coordination, research, human resources, social media management, and digital marketing. She currently serves as an Assistant Manager at Libertine Studios and has previously held roles including Research Intern at Integra Tradec, Human Resources Assistant at Maisa Agropecuaria, Social Media Manager at Indulge Management, and Hostess at Barton G. Her diverse background allows her to combine organization, communication, problem-solving, and creativity across different professional environments.
Shayna has developed particular expertise in social media management, digital marketing, content development, project coordination, business research, event planning, and administrative support. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and staying goal-driven and detail-oriented in everything I do. I believe in continuing my education, maintaining a genuine love for learning new things, and being willing to grow wherever I am. I also strive to lead by example and make a positive difference every day. My motivation comes from consistently preparing myself, learning from each experience, and bringing purpose to the work I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is not to be afraid of the unknown and to embrace challenges because that is where learning and growth happen. I have also learned the importance of bringing positivity to others, because the energy and support we give to people can come back to us in meaningful ways. I believe there is something to learn everywhere I go, and I value the importance of remaining true to my unique identity throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to understand that it is okay to pivot and change direction. Career paths do not always have to be linear, and sometimes changing direction is part of discovering what truly makes you passionate and happy. I encourage young women to find what fulfills them, remain open to new possibilities, and never allow obstacles to prevent them from pursuing their goals. Staying adaptable while remaining true to yourself can help you navigate challenges and continue moving forward.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see an opportunity to continue using my areas of expertise in social media, digital marketing, content media, and marketing event planning to support the evolving needs of the entertainment industry. These areas allow me to combine organization, creativity, communication, and strategic thinking while helping individuals and businesses strengthen their presence and achieve their goals.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, and empathy are central to both my professional and personal life. I also value being a good listener and a strong mentor to others. I believe in being prepared, dependable, and consistent in the way I approach my responsibilities and relationships. These values help me build trust, communicate effectively, and contribute positively to the people and organizations around me.
