About Shea

Shea Stephenson serves as a producer and editor at The Crown Network, a media network in Cincinnati focused on sports media as well as general and lifestyle content. In this role she oversees podcast production, edits episodes and YouTube videos, designs thumbnails, and handles field shooting and producing. Prior to joining The Crown Network three months ago, she worked for two and a half years as a feature producer with the Cincinnati Bengals, where she produced and edited long-form documentary content including the in-house series From the Jungle and served as executive producer and editor on the Emmy award-winning feature An Everlasting Flame about Ken Riley. She also completed a nine-month post-production internship with Michigan State Spartan Vision supporting all varsity athletics and later served over a year as content creator and social media producer for the nonprofit Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Shea earned a double major in Film and Media Arts and Communications from the University of Utah and received two Regional Emmys in 2023 for her work with the Bengals.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Having confidence is the most important thing. If you're in a room, you're meant to be there. Even if you have to fake it, channel your inner strength, use a stern voice, and feel empowered when you speak. Men will take you seriously if you believe in yourself. Fake it till you make it - pretend you're not anxious or scared, and that confidence builds over time.
