01What do you attribute your success to?
I am the daughter of two immigrants who came from Jamaica in the late 60s. I watched them build from nothing with a very blue-collar background in South Jamaica, Queens. My mother worked as an accountant for the NBA after answering a help wanted ad, commuting long hours, and my father was a UPS driver. They raised three kids with no familial support and instilled in me a gritty work ethic. As a woman of God, my faith keeps me strong, and 777 represents the Holy Trinity.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My journalism professor would say just start. Starting is the hardest part. Identify what you love to do and then figure out how to monetize it. Surround yourself with a good support team, verbalize your ideas, use resources like LegalZoom to form your LLC, get out there and network because your network is your net worth, and get a great CRM like GoHighLevel to track leads and build funnels. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.
