About Sheena
Sheena Hawkins serves as Retail Market President at BMO Bank, where she leads strategic growth across 12 financial centers covering 62 bank employees with a focus on relationship building, business acquisition, client experience, retention, and community engagement. She began her banking career in 2002 as a part-time teller and advanced through positions such as teller supervisor, teller manager, banker, bank manager, and spent 12 to 13 years in business banking, developing a passion for helping business clients grow and scale. Hawkins holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois and is certified in underwriting and lending. Her areas of specialization include business development and team leadership, evidenced by her work branding BMO's presence through strategic networking and building community partnerships. She has received recognition including top performing trips five times and the 2024 Arizona Lending Award, also known as the Access to Capital Award, for helping small businesses obtain financing. Hawkins serves on the boards of Young and Empowered Women and Rehoboth Community Development Organization, co-chairs the BMO Black Professional Network, and has volunteered with Rehoboth Development Corporation for three years. She attributes her success to her passion for helping others by acting as a resource and connector.

01What do you attribute your success to?
The passion that I have for helping others. If it's not within the realm of what I do, I always am a resource to others, a connector to someone who could be of support to them. It's all about what I can do for somebody. Making those connections to others and being a resource is what sets you apart.
