01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge through licenses,, real estate, mentors , continuing education,certifications, technical training, and hands-on experience. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to learning new technologies, embracing challenges, and persevering while balancing both my professional responsibilities and motherhood. The guidance of mentors, combined with determination and a willingness to grow, has enabled me to build a rewarding career in real estate and in software architecture and systems integration.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received came from my mentors, Steve,Koleno and my mother Kathy Williams, who encouraged me to remain focused, continuously improve my skills, and make thoughtful financial and professional decisions. You have to be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn in many areas of your life. You must be able to pivot and propel yourself forward with whatever opportunities or circumstances that are placed in front of you.Their guidance taught me the importance of staying disciplined, being adaptable, and course-correcting whenever necessary while pursuing long-term goals.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to pursue careers that bring genuine fulfillment rather than focusing solely on reaching a financial end goal. Find purpose and satisfaction in the journey of learning and growing because even if your plans change, the experience itself will remain meaningful. Stay curious, continue developing your skills, and don't be afraid to pursue opportunities that challenge you and help you grow professionally even if they seem contrary to the current road that you’re on one door 90% at the time when concerning new opportunities in growth development it’s okay to acknowledge that Opportunity if it aligns with your purpose and how you can incorporate it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe one of the greatest challenges is the continued underrepresentation of women in certain technical roles. At the same time, this presents a tremendous opportunity to break barriers and contribute fresh perspectives to the industry. I also see significant opportunities in designing innovative system processes ,integrations, solving complex technical problems that have not been addressed before, and building a strong personal brand that opens doors for future growth and leadership. In the field of real estate it’s navigating and creating a great process not just for yourself but for client because your clients are in it to experience the best you have to offer as well as accomplishing their goal for a home. I think a Beautiful challenge is acknowledging what someone is purchasing property for because they may all vary and you wanna make sure that the creative stage of planning for that client fits their exact needs.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal life are God led and God assigned opportunities, fulfillment, passion, perseverance, organization, and service to others. I believe meaningful work comes from doing what I enjoy while remaining committed to continuous learning, helping my community, and making a positive impact through both my career and volunteer efforts.
