Before that, I spent over five years at AE Business Solutions as Senior Systems Analyst and QA Lead, where I designed and executed comprehensive test cases for large-scale data systems, validated data workflows impacting approximately one million records across five integrated systems, identified and resolved ninety-four percent of critical data errors during testing, developed automated regression test workflows reducing manual testing effort by ninety-four percent, and improved overall data integrity by twenty-five percent.
Earlier in my career, I served as Quality Analyst at Quest Global and Apple, where I performed manual and automated testing for enterprise applications, developed automated test scripts using Squish reducing manual testing effort by up to ninety-four percent, implemented automation frameworks that saved approximately two weeks per testing cycle, and contributed to a ninety-five percent defect resolution rate using Bugzilla.
Across my career in AI quality assurance, systems analysis, and software testing, my work has been driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable systems through rigorous testing, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. Whether I am leading AI quality initiatives, building automated test frameworks, or validating complex data pipelines, I bring a strategic mindset, strong technical skills, and a dedication to excellence that ensures production-ready, scalable, and compliant solutions. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing AI quality assurance and systems analysis at The University of Texas at Austin.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sheethal
01What do you attribute your success to?
I stay curious about how things are working. I push myself out of my comfort zone every day by asking what one uncomfortable thing I did today. I work a lot rather than speak a lot.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
No matter what, don't give up. Keep going. Sometimes the road is not always right, you have up and down, but don't give up on yourself.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Keep going, don't stop. Once you reach a point where you feel stuck, accelerate yourself and push harder. If you're doing 10 things, make sure you do 10 more things so that you're pushing hard on yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The job market is really dry right now. There was a point during COVID time they hired too many people, and now if there is one position, 300 to 400 people are applying for one position.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I follow ethics like not telling lies, be patient, and keep going. At work, to become a leader you should deal with empathy rather than ordering things.
