Her Story

About Shefali

I've spent 7 years building my career in marketing, working with incredible clients like Samsung, Google, and Logitech through Winer Media, a marketing agency based in America. My journey started after completing my bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, when I began as a creative strategist. Over time, I realized my real passion and inclination was towards client-facing roles - convincing people, managing campaigns, and developing corporate strategy. This led me to pursue various roles including product manager, brand strategist, and most recently, brand manager. Throughout all these different positions, one thing has remained constant and fascinating to me: the client-facing aspect and the ability to influence people through campaign management and truly connect with consumers. I've handled GTM and brand strategy for major brands, and what drives me is impacting people through marketing, communication, and even just speaking to them and solving their problems. Currently, I'm pursuing my MBA part-time, continuing to grow and expand my expertise in this field I'm so passionate about.

Ten minutes with Shefali

01What do you attribute your success to?

I'd say impacting people. Whether it's in my corporate life or my personal life, what drives me is impacting people through communication, through marketing, or even just speaking to them and solving their problems. That's really what my success comes down to - the ability to make a meaningful impact on people through whatever I do.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just go all in and do whatever you feel like is right for you. There is no right or wrong answer at the beginning of your career. Try to do everything, and then let's see what is the best fit for you after 10 years or 20 years. There's no right time to decide what you actually want to do, so just do everything and explore all your options.
