About Sheila

I have dedicated over 30 years to ministry work focused on helping women heal from past wounds and discover their God-given purpose. My ministry emerged from my own journey of dealing with rejection and abandonment from my younger years. I use the metaphor of a glass shard that was lodged in my foot as a child to illustrate how unhealed wounds stay embedded in our souls and cause us to react painfully when touched. Through my purposely designed conferences and online courses, I help women who are entrepreneurs, business owners, ministers, and homemakers to peel back layers and get to the root of their pain so they can heal properly. I guide women through what I call the purpose circle to help them discover what lights them up and what they would do if they just had the chance. Before fully dedicating myself to ministry, I had a career in education with an MA in educational leadership, working as an elementary school teacher, junior high teacher, and district literacy coach in Minnesota. My husband and I retired to Arizona where I told the Lord I would be all His. I stay very close to the Holy Spirit in prayer to ensure my message meets people where they are, whether I am speaking at conferences, on podcasts, or in online events. My upcoming book, Silent Shards, shares the stories and metaphors God has given me to help women understand that while healing hurts, it is worth it because once the shard is removed, you can touch that spot and it no longer hurts.
