What do you attribute your success to?
With over 17 years in education and advanced degrees in Business Administration and Information Systems, I continuously seek opportunities to grow professionally and stay current in business, technology, and instructional best practices. My leadership experience in the U.S. Army strengthened my ability to manage processes, set high standards, and lead with accountability. These skills translate into structured, goal-oriented classrooms and effective mentoring relationships. I believe students learn best through real-world application. By integrating project-based learning, technology tools, and business simulations, I create engaging lessons that build both academic knowledge and practical career skills. Building meaningful relationships with students is central to my success. I foster an inclusive, collaborative learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential. My ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with students, faculty, families, and community partners strengthens learning outcomes and promotes a positive school culture. Experience across education, business, and military environments has taught me to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and solve problems with creativity and precision. Guided by values of integrity, honesty, loyalty, and faith, I lead by example. These values shape my professional decisions and inspire students to develop strong character alongside academic excellence. Beyond the classroom, I am deeply committed to mentoring and community involvement, helping students connect education to future opportunities and long-term success.
