Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shelbi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say I just have a service mindset. I definitely want to make the world around me a better place, and providing excellent service, leading team. There's all ways that I can spread kind of my own behaviors and create a ripple effect to those around me. So I think just the desire to make meaningful impact is always what motivates me to do good and be good every day.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say my best advice all around is to be afraid, but still push through and do it anyway. Like, the magic in life always happens on the other side of your most uncomfortable situations. Another big thing is just people selling themselves, like, the whole soft skill thing. You might be underqualified for a job, but apply for it and sell yourself and sell your best attributes.
