Shelby Baxter-Andrews

Shelby grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida until she moved to Atlanta, Georgia for seminary. She graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and a Master of Arts in Practical Theology (MAPT). Shelby is passionate about community service and development, authentic relationship-building across all ages, teaching, planning and leading worship, and working for Shalom for all God's people.

Shelby is also a full-time parent to a sweet and rambunctious toddler and spends as much time as possible with family. She loves to sing and enjoys expressing herself through the visual arts. She is an avid reader and co-hosts a podcast (Chub Rub Book Club) about fantasy and sci-fi novels and embodiment with her best friend in their free time. Her other pastimes include tending to a small garden and taking care of her family's many pets. Shelby has also been living with chronic illness for over a decade and works hard to manage her Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and ADHD to live the most fulfilling and fruitful life possible.
