01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to building strong professional relationships, earning trust, and maintaining credibility with colleagues and leadership.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Two mentors, my PhD advisor Mark Greenberg and my current boss Curtis Lamb, have been especially influential in my career. Their guidance and support at different stages have helped me grow as a scientist and professional.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Build strong relationships not only within your team but across adjacent teams. Influence grows when decision-makers trust you, know you are reliable, and value your contributions.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The job market is challenging right now, making networking more important than ever. Reaching out to professionals on LinkedIn, including those in senior roles, can open doors to meaningful conversations and new opportunities.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value collaboration, trust, curiosity, professional growth, meaningful relationships, and continuous learning. Family is especially important to me as a mother of two young daughters, and I strive to balance professional advancement with a fulfilling family life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying current with scientific developments through podcasts and research, particularly in nucleic acids and related advancements.
