Shelley Kindya Haglund

Shelley KindyaHaglund has been a real estate agent for 26 years and has served as a broker and owner of her own company since 2015. She was first licensed in Virginia and began her career at Long and Foster, which offered a mentorship program. As the wife of a military service member who served 24 years in the Air Force, she appreciated the scheduling flexibility that allowed her to raise her two children largely on her own while building her business. She has mentored numerous agents and emphasizes dedication, working evenings and weekends, and delivering exceptional customer service to buyers and sellers. In addition to real estate brokerage, she owns a small retail shop. Her entrepreneurial drive comes from her independent upbringing as a military spouse, and she has contributed to her community through 12 years as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children, managing a gift shop at her former church, and serving on the finance council of her current church.
