Currently serving as Senior HR Site Leader at GE Aerospace, she brings a strategic and people-focused approach to organizational development, succession planning, and employee relations. Throughout her career, Shelley has demonstrated expertise in management, continuous improvement, and strategic planning, consistently driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business goals.
Shelley began her career in Human Resources with roles that built a strong foundation in leadership development and HR management. She spent over a decade at International Paper, where she progressed through multiple leadership positions, including Human Resources Manager and Manager of Leadership Development. What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now include staying ahead of economic and global changes, continuously learning new skills, and ensuring employees know we are here to support and guide them. It’s also essential to educate them on policies so they can make informed, better decisions.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are being a good listener, being an effective problem solver, and embracing change with a positive mindset.
