Shelli (Shelli Jo) DiGiovanni is a Christian author, public speaker, and educator whose life’s mission is to empower others with biblical truths and practical tools to find peace with God, themselves, and others. The author of How Can I Breathe Again, Shelli draws deeply from her own life experiences to help others heal emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Her message is rooted in grace, reminding every person she meets that they are loved and enough because of Jesus. Whether speaking from the stage or working one-on-one, she approaches every conversation with compassion, authenticity, and faith.

Before becoming a published author, Shelli built a multifaceted career as an early childhood educator, sales leader, and case manager. Her background includes leadership roles at organizations such as Eddie Bauer and The Fireside Theater, where she developed her expertise in management, communication, and mentorship. Through her work with New Beginnings, she has also helped single mothers gain confidence, develop life skills, and pursue brighter futures through education and faith-based guidance.

Shelli’s greatest joy comes from seeing transformation—when someone moves from feeling broken or overwhelmed to breathing freely again. With a heart for service and a passion for storytelling, she continues to inspire audiences through her writing, workshops, and speaking engagements. Grounded in faith and driven by purpose, Shelli’s journey is a testament to the healing power of hope, resilience, and God’s unconditional love.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith—trusting that I am loved and enough because of Jesus. My journey as the author of How Can I Breathe Again has been guided by that belief, along with consistent effort in marketing, networking at events, and staying grounded through travel, walks, and time with my cat, Charlotte.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith is at the center of everything I do—being adaptable, serving others through the Kingdom Builder Academy, and striving to be a positive role model for my kids are the values that guide both my work and personal life.
