Ten minutes with Shelly
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong internal drive and a winning mentality grounded in integrity and long term thinking. I’m deeply self motivated, solutions oriented and relentless in pursuing positive outcomes while always finding a path forward when faced with obstacles. I consistently go beyond outlined goals, outwork the competition, and stay customer focused. I always prioritize what’s right for the partnership even when it requires a short-term sacrifice. At the core of everything I do is integrity, strong relationship building, and a genuine passion for the work which allows me to lead professionally, build trust, and deliver sustainable results.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I’ve learned that true career growth requires honest self awareness. When a role or culture stops aligning with your values and purpose, the choice to move on, despite uncertainty, is often the most powerful decision you can make!
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be yourself, lead with integrity, and don’t believe you have to compromise your values to succeed. The right opportunities will come from staying grounded in who you are, not from trying to fit into someone else’s mold.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in the beverage industry today is the pace of change and declining brand loyalty. Consumers are more informed, more experimental, and less committed to a single brand than when I started my career. This creates pressure to innovate, execute flawlessly, and earn loyalty every day, but it also opens the door for brands that truly listen, adapt quickly, and consistently deliver value.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally and personally. I value doing what’s right, even when it’s hard or comes with a short-term cost. I’m deeply driven by accountability, strong relationships, and commitment to long-term growth over quick wins. Strong passion for my work, professionalism, and staying true to who I am matter just as much as performance, because real success comes from alignment between your values, your actions, and the impact you create.
