What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a strong sense of drive and an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth. Since 2006, I’ve built my career in the title and real estate industry—recently advancing to Assistant Division Manager—while also running my own film production company. I stay focused and intentional about my mindset, which helps me balance both paths effectively. Whenever I feel complacent, I push myself to the next level. That drive has not only led to professional advancement, but also creative milestones—like having my short film Fallen Heights picked up by Amazon Prime.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always challenge your limits and never limit yourself. Growth doesn’t happen in comfort zones, so it’s important to take risks, explore new opportunities, and trust that you’re capable—even when the path feels unfamiliar. Stepping out of my comfort zone has led to some of the most rewarding moments in both my professional and creative journey.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I’d give to young women entering this industry is: don’t let comfort hold you back. I stayed in certain roles longer than I should have because I was afraid to take that leap—but growth comes when you step into the unknown. Don’t be afraid to be creative, to think outside the box, and most importantly, to believe in your potential. You truly never know where it can lead you. For a long time, I didn’t think I could handle management while pursuing my own production company, but with time, I recognized my strengths and stepped into my power. Know your worth, practice self-love, and stay persistent in your goals—your success will follow.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I face right now is balancing two demanding career paths—working in real estate and title management while also running a film production company—alongside going back to school. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is an ongoing effort, especially when each path requires such different energy and focus. In the film world specifically, I’ve taken a bit of a step back due to industry challenges, including funding hurdles and shifting market dynamics. That said, I see opportunity in continuing to build a solid foundation professionally while preparing to re-engage creatively when the timing aligns.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are organization, resilience, and progression. I thrive when things are structured and in order—it helps me stay focused and maintain clarity, especially while balancing multiple responsibilities. I’m a go-getter by nature, always thinking about the future and how I can continue to grow, but I also make a conscious effort to stay grounded and appreciate the present moment. I value adventure, connection, and optimism, and I bring an extroverted energy to everything I do, while also staying realistic about challenges and how to overcome them.
