Sherry Blankenship

Sherry Blankenship began her career with an undergraduate degree in education and taught for a few years before taking an administrative role at a community college. After taking a design course that sparked her interest, she pursued a master's degree in design at North Carolina State University, completing it in two years. She worked in a publication company designing magazines until the company folded during the early 1990s recession. She then taught design classes and took positions overseas, spending 10 years teaching in New Zealand and 5 years at a university in Lebanon. She later returned to the United States and taught design in Ohio until her retirement. Throughout her career, she combined her education background with creative design work across multiple countries.
