About Sherry

I’m an arts educator and higher education leader passionate about expanding access to creative learning and integrating technology into arts education. As Center Director at SUNY Westchester Community College’s Center for the Digital Arts, I manage academic programs, develop new curricula, lead faculty recruitment, oversee budgets, and build partnerships that connect education with workforce and community needs.

In addition, I teach graduate students at the School of Visual Arts, where I design courses on teaching with technology in arts education and mentor future educators in using digital tools to inspire creativity and critical thinking.

For more than 20 years, I’ve been committed to building innovative programs, supporting faculty and students, and creating learning environments where creativity, technology, and community engagement come together. I’m passionate about helping students discover their voice, preparing educators for the future, and advancing arts education through meaningful collaboration and strategic leadership.
