Sherry S.

Sherry S. (Sherry Steine) is a Certified NAHA Aromatherapist (Non-Clinical), RYT 500 Therapeutic Yoga Educator, and Yoga Therapist-in-Training dedicated to holistic, integrative wellness. Based in Maryland, she brings together modern research and ancient healing systems to support emotional well-being, nervous system regulation, and whole-person care. With a background in marketing and city and regional planning, Sherry blends strategic insight with compassionate practice to create accessible, evidence-informed wellness experiences.

Sherry is the founder of Aligned Apothecary and SBW Aligned Expressions, where she specializes in trauma-informed yoga, customized aromatherapy, Aroma Acupoint Therapy, Ayurveda, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her work focuses especially on midlife women, cancer survivors, and caregivers, offering therapeutic yoga for cancer care, yin and restorative retreats, and personalized essential-oil protocols designed to support physical, emotional, and energetic balance. She has collaborated with organizations such as Hope Connections for Cancer Support and contributes to the Society for Integrative Oncology’s Yoga Special Interest Group, reflecting her commitment to integrative cancer care.

In addition to her clinical and educational work, Sherry is a workshop facilitator, consultant, and public speaker, addressing workforce burnout, caregiver stress, and community wellness. She also hosts the Aligned Expressions Podcast, where she shares insights on holistic living, therapeutic yoga, and aromatherapy. Grounded in compassion and cultural responsiveness, Sherry’s mission is to create safe, restorative spaces that honor each individual’s journey—supporting healing, resilience, and a return to wholeness.
