About Sherry
Sherry Wu serves as Design Lead at Samsung in Sunnyvale, California, a role she has held since 2016. In this position, she oversees design for the company's cross-platform advertising platform, which supports Samsung Smart TVs, smartphones, and appliances by bridging advertisers with targeted customers. Wu manages design across all business pipelines and takes pride in having scaled the design framework and processes she established from the ground up, beginning as the team's sole designer. She earned her Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech in 2014 and began her design career at startups in the Bay Area before joining Samsung. Wu has served as a judge on the digital design jury for the D&AD International Design Awards in 2022 and participates in the local design community U.S. Wizzers on Meetup.com.
