In addition to her professional work, she volunteers and donates to CC4C, Cheyenne's Champions for Children, a local nonprofit. She values honesty, trust, respect, and operating her business with strong Christian faith-based principles.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sheryl

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think just having a passion for what you do would definitely be one thing, and then just trying to stick with it. Sometimes when you have obstacles, you know, you can't give up. You just gotta keep plugging along, right? Just keep at it and don't give up. And then be sincere and have integrity when you're working with the public and businesses.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don't give up. You know, just continue to hold your head up, because we all have obstacles that we're going to come across. Just don't give up, just keep going, learn from those obstacles.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just be truthful, be honest, and keep your integrity. Don't give up. There's plenty of business out there for all of us. Join and get involved in your community and join BNI. For every 10 no's you have, you'll have 2 yeses which will pay off.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

A lot of people jump online and order stuff but don't get what they think they're getting - quality issues like blurry banners or pens that fall apart. Pricing can be better through professionals. Challenges with people wanting quick and easy options, but opportunities in networking groups where people are loyal and refer business.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, trust, respect. I stand firm on my Christian values. I'm definitely a faith-based person and believe in running and operating my business with faith values for sure.
