I attribute my success first to God and my parents, and also to my own drive and ambition—I’m not afraid to fail.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to confidently express yourself with customers, listen actively, and allow them to explore the store at their own pace—most times, you’ll find common ground, and effective communication is key.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are staying active, engaging my mind and body through hobbies like Scrabble, archery, and sailing, and being involved in activities that support and enrich the lives of children.
