Her Interview

Ten minutes with Shivangi

01What do you attribute your success to?

It was very intuitive. My parents both come from an academic background, they both are teachers. Their approach was like, you try. If you want to learn something, if you want to apply something in your day-to-day life, try to get a job into that sector or try to get a degree to that sector. Based on your observation skills, you'll be able to find your own path. The pivot thing actually came from the family. It's in blood. There's no fixed spot in careers. So at any age, you can pick whatever, and I firmly believe that.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Do not fear that the woman is not there, so you cannot succeed. Initially, you will get some setbacks, but if you are persistent on what you believe in, success in your hand. Each and every woman in this world, if you observe on the ground, 70% of world runs with the hard work that women puts in. If you will stay fearful, then it can make you feel underconfident. It's okay, let it come. I will face it. Nothing can go wrong in life.
