Her Story

About Shivani

I serve as an Associate Vice President at Infosys, where I spearhead transformative innovation and champion client successes across 13 diverse industries within our Services Equity Resources and Energy segment. I report to an EVP who reports directly to the CEO of Infosys. Four years ago, I was brought on in an entrepreneurial capacity to establish and lead a new unit called Cloud Economy and Industry Cloud, with the mission of increasing cloud revenue and developing industry-centric intelligence platforms. My role requires me to create a multiplier effect by bringing together the best of Infosys while collaborating closely with hyperscaler partners including AWS, Microsoft, and Google to craft transformative narratives for our clients. What drives me most is transformation and technology - these have always been my core passions. I'm a quick study, which allows me to successfully navigate the complexity of overseeing 13 different industries. While I may not be able to go as deep into each industry as they individually demand, my ability to quickly understand and correlate business concepts enables both my success and my organization's success in client discussions and deal closures. Beyond my client-facing work, I'm deeply passionate about mentoring the next generation of women leaders within my organization, helping them navigate and succeed in this large, complex global company of over 330,000 people.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

This is one of the most exciting times to join the technology industry. If somebody had asked me about 10 years back, I would have laid down a few criteria and asked whether she identifies with those before venturing into this industry. But now, with AI in this field and the kind of velocity we're seeing in the tech industry, this is truly one of the most exciting times to be part of it.
