Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying consistent and persistent, even when challenges arise.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to think outside the box—don’t always follow the money; follow your passion and purpose instead.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is that getting into pharmacy school can be difficult because the entry exam doesn’t fully reflect the realities of being a pharmacist, leaving many students underprepared for what they will learn and experience along the way.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are communication and transparency. Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family—like running a lemonade food truck with my daughter and mother—enjoying travel, food adventures, escape rooms, and discovering new cultures, with favorite trips including a walking tour in Cuba and a culinary journey in New Orleans.
