Shorena Zhghenti

Shorena Zhghenti is the finance educator team lead at RMA of New York, an infertility clinic based in New York. In this role, she communicates with patients to educate them on the financial aspects of fertility treatment, including responsibilities, insurance coverages, and available options, while supporting them throughout their journey. She also leads and manages a team of 17 members, providing guidance and education to ensure effective patient support. Shorena holds a doctor's diploma from Georgia, where she was born, raised, and completed her education with a focus on reproductive endocrinology. As a first-generation immigrant who arrived in the United States in 2011, she began her career in the field in 2014 and transitioned to fertility finance in 2020. She attributes her success to the challenges overcome as an immigrant and the opportunity to remain close to her specialty through the financial side of patient care at the infertility clinic. Her leadership style emphasizes leading by example, and she advises continuous development through additional work, travel, and reading while prioritizing quality family time.
